Fresh cheese typical of Catalan gastronomy

Mató is a typical product of Catalan gastronomy and its production is ingrained in the origins of Pastoret. It is a type of fresh cheese, low in fat and rich in calcium, that we modify so it has a soft and spongy texture with a fine milky palate.

It is traditionally eaten with honey as a dessert but can be savored at any time of day, alone or with sugar, nuts, jams, etc.
