We’re going to tell you a secret. They enjoy grazing in freedom and making quality milk but also want to meet new friends… They are our cows, who live in the farm Can Gel, where there is time for everything but mainly, time to be happy. Yesterday, they became the protagonists of a very special day.
Pastoret is celebrating its 25th anniversary so we had an idea. Why not invite a group of friends to share this special date? Everyone said yes right away. Yes to a day away from the city, from the rush, from the stress. Yes to a place where the only thing that is heard is nature. And most important, yes to a day on our farm, to know our history and our day to day life.
Our friends are influencers of the gastronomic scope and they recognize the flavors of truth. Do you know who they are? We put names and social media handles in case you want to follow them. From the first moment, we found that we all had something in common: excitement. We were excited for the opportunity to welcome them and allow them to discover our surroundings. Our friends, for experiencing this celebration. We can see that the farm Can Gel has a lot of life .
At Pastoret we have kept our homemade recipes and artisanal creation but it would be useless if we did not have a milk production like the one that our cows offer us. Thanks to them, we get unique flavors and textures. The visit began with an introduction in which they told us the origins of the farm. Currently, there are 250 Frisian cows, of which 120 are productive, that is, they are giving milk. For us, their emotional well-being is very important . Therefore, they have ample spaces to move, special beds and cubicles to rest, and different areas according to their life cycle…
Then came the most exciting moment. Who better to teach us about the farm than the cows? However, none of them wanted to miss their walk in the fields and our friends got to witness it. Their smiles were the best description of the moment. These are precisely the little things we do not want to miss. Nor the pleasure of sharing a meal, a chat, a dessert.
The table was filled with colors and flavors. Pastoret products had a lot of presence. A cream of pumpkin curry with Yoghourt Artisan Goat Milk , Saams Lettuce and Cheese Batido 0% MG, a pasta salad with Yoghourt Natural and Kefir and a salmon sandwich, vegetables and Yoghourt the Greek Style Craft . These were the recipes from the menu that won us over. The caprichos swept over dessert. Nobody wanted to leave without these!
If we were to invent a new yoghourt today, it would taste like graciousness. Thank you for sharing this special day with us and for letting us do what we like best: surprising whimsical palates.
